Marianna Zagurovskaya, MD

Dr. Marianna Zagurovskaya is a radiologist at the University of Kentucky with an appointment of an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology. Dr. Zagurovskaya graduated from the Kazakh National Medical University Named After SD Asfendiarov and completed the Radiology residency at the University of Kentucky followed by the Cardiothoracic Imaging fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University. She connected to RAD-AID in 2015 to work in Almaty, Kazakhstan to enrich an educational curriculum for radiologists-in- training via collaboration with a local Program Director and in-country leader Dr. Zhamilya Zholdybay and the radiology residency program at the leading Cancer Center in the country, the Kazakh Research Institute of Oncology and Radiology. In 2016, Dr. Zagurovskaya took a leadership role in RAD-AID Kazakhstan as a Program Manager launched the first multi-disciplinary seminar for the radiology residents in Kazakhstan and neighbouring country Kyrgystan as well as practicing radiologists. In 2017, she started the UK/COM RAD-AID Chapter to continue the educational mission.
