Ryan England, MD

Program Manager, Flight Operations, Medical Airship Program

Dr. Ryan England is a diagnostic and interventional radiology resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He is a graduate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his intern year at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. As a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and former US Navy pilot, Ryan utilizes his medical and aviation backgrounds as RAD-AID’s Manager of Flight Operations for the Medical Airship Program. In this capacity, he is helping develop the world’s first hybrid medical airship, aimed to deliver advanced radiology health services to medically underserved, remote populations. Ryan also leads the RAD-AID Geographic Information Systems (GIS) research program. Prior to joining the management team, Ryan also completed the RAD-AID Certificate of Global Health Radiology for Trainees program and was a member of the RAD-AID Cape Verde team in 2016-2017.
