Program Manager, RAD-AID Mongolia

Phoebe Mandry is a Medical Radiation Technologist and Diagnostic Medical Sonographer currently living in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She became involved with RAD-AID in 2018, after attending the RAD-AID Conference and participated in her first volunteer project with RAD-AID Tanzania in 2019. Growing up in a rural Métis community in Northern Ontario, Canada, she understands the limitations of access to medical care in rural, medically underserved communities. As Program Manager of RAD-AID Mongolia, Phoebe plans to make education and training her priority. She believes in equitable access to medical care and in sustainable, high-standard healthcare delivery.

Sharon Mohammed, B.S.R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)

Assistant Program Manager, RAD-AID Mongolia

As a Lead Computed Tomography Technologist, Sharon Mohammed is both diligent in her practice and committed to the profession. She joined NYU Langone Health in 2001 after completing her clinical training in a well-respected program at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. With 20 years of experience, she recognizes and values the trust her patients place in her and strives every day to exceed their expectations.

Sharon is also a published author, having published many scientific manuscripts, working with multidisciplinary teams of scientists and clinicians to develop CT scan protocols that optimize image quality. She has led continuing education lectures for staff technologists, delivering substantial contributions to the radiology department at NYU Langone Health, teaching, and leading. Sharon is excited to provide radiology education and support, as well as CT protocol and curriculum development with her peers in Mongolia.
