Program Manager, Radiology Safety and Quality Assurance
Dr. Pradnya Mhatre is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Abdominal Imaging at Emory University. She received her medical degree from the University of Mumbai, India. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency from Drexel University School of Medicine and a fellowship from the University of Virginia. Dr. Mhatre has additional board certification in MR Safety.
Dr. Mhatre got involved with RAD-AID in 2017 and has volunteered for RAD-AID India and RAD-AID Appalachia. For the past several years she has been involved in MRI safety, CT radiation dose modulation and accreditation. Dr. Mhatre envisions supporting the regional programs in establishing appropriate protocols, policies and quality assurance initiatives for MRI safety and CT Radiation Safety.
