Malik Mossa-Basha
Program Manager, RAD-AID Middle East
Dr. Malik Mossa-Basha is a fourth year radiology resident at the University of North Carolina (UNC), planning on entering a two-year neuroradiology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Mossa-Basha volunteered for the Syrian American Medical Society women’s health mission for Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon in February 2017. He plans to participate in the RAD-AID Malawi Program to Kamuzu Central Hospital in December 2018 with a project for introducing neonatal intracranial ultrasound. As the Program Manager of RAD-AID Middle East, Dr. Mossa-Basha seeks to provide sustainable health care and radiology services to refugees by training local medical providers.
