Amna Ajam, MD

Program Manager, RAD-AID Pakistan

Dr. Ajam is a clinical neuroradiologist and Associate Professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she serves as Program Director of the Diagnostic Radiology Residency, Associate Program Director of the Interventional Radiology Residency, and Associate Program Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship. In these roles, she leads curriculum development, competency assessment, and residency recruitment while advancing educational innovation, including mini‑fellowships and leadership training pathways for radiology residents.

Dr. Ajam is the founding chief of Ohio State’s RAD‑AID International chapter, helping expand imaging education and capacity‑building initiatives. Her academic work spans neuroradiology, trainee education, quality improvement, and patient‑centered imaging. She has served on national leadership committees.

Saima Muzahir, MD, FCPS, FRCPE

Program Manager, RAD-AID Pakistan

Dr. Muzahir is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Emory University School of Medicine and serves as the Enterprise Theranostics Lead in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences, Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the Associate Program Director of the Emory Molecular Imaging and Therapy (MIT) Fellowship.

Dr. Muzahir serves as the Program Manager for RAD-AID Pakistan, where she is actively engaged in advancing sustainable imaging solutions, education, and capacity building in nuclear medicine. She also currently serves as Vice President of the Pakistan Society of Nuclear Medicine (PSNM), reflecting her continued leadership and commitment to strengthening nuclear medicine practice and collaboration in Pakistan.

She received her medical degree from Nishtar Medical College, Pakistan, and completed a four-year residency in Nuclear Medicine at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Lahore. Following her training in Pakistan, Dr. Muzahir pursued advanced training in the United States, completing a Nuclear Medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, followed by a PET/CT fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Dr. Muzahir holds national leadership roles as a Board Member of the SNMMI General Clinical Nuclear Medicine Council and as a Director of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM). Her academic and clinical interests focus on radioligand therapies and oncologic PET/CT imaging, with a strong emphasis on translating advanced molecular imaging and theranostic techniques to resource-limited settings.
