
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to give an oral presentation or showcase a poster presentation about their global health radiology work and projects at the 2026 RAD-AID Conference on International Radiology and Global Health.
Abstract format: An abstract provides the Conference Planning Committee with an overview of the oral or poster presentation you wish to give at RAD-AID Conference. We suggest the following format for the abstract submission:
- No longer than 400 words in length, excluding citations and references
- Project goals
- Project duration
- Project location
- Project results
- Plans for next steps

2025 RAD-AID Conference Abstract Presentation
If you are giving an informational overview of an organization, you should describe the following:
- Brief history of the organization,
- Aims of the organization,
- Examples of organizational projects,
- Plans for moving forward.
How to submit your abstract: Abstract sumbissions will open when conference registration opens. Please note, only in-person attendees will be selected. To best prepare for your submission, please make sure you have the following information and documents ready for upload at the time of submission:
- Title of your presentation
- Format of presentation (Poster or Oral presentation)
- 4 key takeaway points of your presentation
- An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) of the presenter(s)
- Abstract (Word or PDF format)
- Optional: Any other materials that you think may help RAD-AID learn more about your project or organization (e.g.: video files, jpeg photos, PPT slides)
Eligibility requirements: Oral and poster presentations will occur during time blocks during the in-person conference. Only in-person registrants are eligible for oral or poster presentations.
Application deadline: August 31, 2026 at 11:59pm EST.
No abstracts received after this deadline will be considered for Poster and Oral Presentations at the 2026 RAD-AID Conference. Results will be announced by September 15, 2026.

2025 RAD-AID Conference Abstract Presentation
Presentations delivery: Space in the lobby, outside the main auditorium and on the lower level of the site is available for oral and poster presentations. Presentation timeblocks are as follows: morning intermission break (15 min), lunch break session 1 (20 min), lunch break session 2 (20 min), afternoon intermission break (15 min). The Conference Planning Committee will connect with all successful candidates to identify appropriate timeblocks.
