Sidney Tazeh, MSc, DABR

Sidney Tazeh is a board-certified Medical Physicist from Tampa, FL where he works at the James A Haley VA Medical Center, leading their stereotactic radiosurgery program. As a global health advocate, he led a successful initiative in Cameroon aimed at expanding access to affordable quality diagnostic imaging services in West and Central Africa. He has co-authored publications on this topic as part of a “roadmap” to broaden healthcare infrastructure in Africa and has given international lectures on creating a culture of safety in radiology and radiation oncology.
He is currently actively involved in designing and testing cost effective solutions to provide comprehensive quality assurance on CT scanners in low-resource regions.
Kenedy Foryoung, MD
Assistant Program Manager, RAD-AID Cameroon
Dr. Kenedy A. Foryoung is a board-certified Neuroradiologist who trained at Yale University. Born in Cameroon and now practicing in the United States, he is passionate about using his skills to expand access to imaging and strengthen medical education in underserved communities. His global health work has taken him back to Cameroon and to Tanzania, where he has contributed to training, mentorship, and capacity-building through collaborative radiology initiatives. Dr. Foryoung is committed to bridging disparities in care and supporting the growth of sustainable radiology services worldwide.
Akongnwi Jungong (AJ) Cheo, MD, MSc
Assistant Program Manager, RAD-AID Cameroon
Dr. Jungong is a native of Cameroon dedicated to expanding radiology access across the region. He completed medical training at the University of Minnesota and is currently a Radiology resident at Emory University School of Medicine. He is passionate about global health equity and is actively collaborating with institutions in Cameroon to strengthen imaging services, radiology education, and breast imaging.
