Mai Elezaby, MD

Mai Elezaby is an assistant professor at The University of Wisconsin Madison. Dr. Elezaby graduated from Cairo University Faculty of Medicine, in Cairo, Egypt. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency and earned her M.Sc. degree in Radiology at the same institution. After joining the University of Wisconsin with the intention to pursue breast imaging, Dr. Elezaby completed her second radiology residency as well as fellowship training in breast imaging. She has extensive experience in global health radiology through the UW-Madison RAD-AID Chapter’s work in Nicaragua. As Director of the Online Learning Center, her vision is to share knowledge to improve radiology services in low-resource settings around the world. Carley Hansen-Prince, M.ED., R.T.(R)(ARRT)

Carley Hansen-Prince is a retired radiologic technologist educator living in Oregon. A native of Virginia City, Nevada, she earned her B.S. in Biology from Oregon State University (OSU) and her M.Ed. in Education from Western Washington University. She taught middle school life and physical science in Reno, Nevada, and for OSU’s K-12 Online program. A graduate of Linn-Benton Community College’s (LBCC) Diagnostic Imaging program, Carley worked as a technologist and taught online courses for the LBCC program from 2009 to 2012. A full-time faculty member for LBCC’s program from 2012 to 2022, Carley has extensive experience teaching both face-to-face and online in multiple LMS and in the virtual classroom. She’s published several articles in the journal Radiologic Technology, including “Teaching in the Virtual Classroom”, “Using Role-Play and Cheese to Simulate Foot and Ankle Examinations” and others. Carley’s passions include education and curriculum design, online learning, and the imaging sciences and is always looking for new and innovative ways to engage and support learners.
Jenna MacLaine, R.T.(R), CTIC, CAE
Associate Program Manager, RAD-AID Learning Center
Jenna MacLaine graduated from the Medical Radiological Technology (MRT) program at Red River College, in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Jenna returned to northern Manitoba to work in the Diagnostic Imaging department at Thompson General Hospital in Thompson, Manitoba Canada where she continues to work in both X-ray and Computed Tomography. Jenna achieved her Certificate in Adult Education from Red River College and works alongside the clinical instructors of the MRT program to provide clinical opportunities for students in the north.
Jenna has volunteered with the Manitoba Association of Medical Radiation Technologists and the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. She began volunteering with RAD-AID International in January 2020, as an outreach volunteer with RAD-AID Tanzania, to work alongside the CT radiographers and radiologists to optimize scanning protocols and injection timing. In 2021, Jenna joined the RAD-AID Learning Center team and has worked recruiting CT volunteers to present on various CT topics. Jenna also is a course facilitator with RAD-AID’s Certificate of Proficiency in Global Health Radiology.
