Jacxelyn Moran, MD
Program Manager, RAD-AID Guatemala
Dr. Jacxelyn Moran is currently a radiology resident at Mount Sinai West in Manhattan, New York. Before living in the Northeast, Dr. Moran completed medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she became involved with her first global health initiatives. Her experience included clinic volunteering in Cusco, Peru. Her second opportunity included a research rotation involving garment industry workers in Savar, Bangladesh. As a resident, she became involved with RAD-AID after attending the 2018 annual meeting and after hearing about efforts in Tanzania. As the Program Manager of RAD-AID Guatemala, she hopes that RAD-AID can help implement technological and educational support for the Roosevelt Hospital radiology department.
