Ufara Zuwasti Curran, MD, MSc

Director, RAD-AID Indonesia

Dr. Zuwasti Curran received her MD from the University of Indonesia and her Masters in Global Health Science from the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Population Health. Prior to joining RAD-AID, Dr. Zuwasti Curran worked for Indonesia’s Vice President and Special Envoy for the Millennium Development Goals to strengthen public health delivery and systems insight. Ufara also served as Health System Specialist and Team Coordinator for USAID’s Health Finance and Governance project, and as consultant for the World Bank. Dr. Zuwasti Curran’s interests include national health policy and systems strengthening, innovative financing models, informatics, and interdisciplinary partnerships.

Diana Kadi, MD

Program Manager, RAD-AID Indonesia

Dr. Diana Kadi is an MD graduate from Université Saint Joseph in Beirut, Lebanon, she is a post-doctoral research fellow at Duke University in Durham, NC and an aspiring radiologist. Diana is driven by a strong desire to help create a more equitable future for developing countries. She is currently managing the educational program for Indonesian radiology residents and her interests are primarily in medical education and in implementing sustainable radiology services in underserved areas of the world. Lydia Donaldson, MBA, MHSM, BSRS, RT(R)(CT)

Program Manager, RAD-AID Indonesia

Lydia Donaldson has a heart for people and has frequently served in areas providing humanitarian assistance including emergency services, disaster relief, response to crisis situations, medical care and food distribution. Lydia graduated with her Associate and Bachelor’s Degrees in Radiology from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX, and both of her Master’s Degrees from Texas Women’s University in Dallas, Texas.

Lydia has been a Radiologic Technologist for over 20 years- having led a variety of teams and now as Teaching Faculty and Clinical Coordinator at Dallas College in Dallas, Texas, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology, Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.   Seeming like destiny, her Faculty Chair suggested volunteering for Rad-Aid which would bring her love for others together with her passion for her work in Radiology.  In 2023 she traveled to Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Dr. Hasan Sadikin (RSHS) in Bandung and Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Nasional dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo (RSCM) or University of Jakarta in Jakarta to aid in clinical assessment, operations and education for the RAD-AID Indonesia Program, which ultimately paved the way for Lydia to continue to support and collaborate with these programs in the role of Program Manager of the RAD-AID Indonesia Team.
