Panel at RAD-AID Conference 2025
This conference presents important topics and networking opportunities on global health outreach for radiology and radiation oncology in helping low and middle-income countries (LMICs) as well as medically underserved populations in high-income countries.
The format of RAD-AID Conference includes ~25 short 15-minute presentations and panel discussions with audience comments/Q&A on global health radiology topics from around the world, covering strategies for increasing and improving health equity. Conference attendees include physicians, radiologic technologists, radiation therapists, nurses, sonographers, medical physicists, IT-specialists, nonprofits/business managers, engineers, and public health specialists, for a robust interdisciplinary dialogue on global health equity.
CME, CE, and Contact Hours for physicians, technologists, therapists, sonographers, and nurses, respectively were available. 6-8 credits were awarded to in-person and virtual participants.
Every year, RAD-AID offers the opportunity for attendees to learn about global health radiology projects. Oral and poster presentations occur during blocks of time prior to the conference start, during conference breaks, and over the lunchtime period. These presentations are given in the lobby, outside the auditorium and on the lower level of the conference location.
