Jo has worked in variety of clinical and academic roles and is currently the Clinical Lecturer for Point of Care Ultrasound  (PoCUS) at Otago Medical School, an Honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Auckland – Department of Medical and Health Sciences and Acting Charge Sonographer at Te Whatu Ora-Hutt Valley Hospital.

Jo is President-elect of the Australasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (ASUM) and an Administration Councillor for the World Federation of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (WFUMB).  Jo is the previous chair of the Diploma of Medical Ultrasonography Board of Examiners and  ASUM New Zealand. Jo strongly believes that everyone deserves access to high quality ultrasound no matter where they live or their personal circumstances and her role at RAD-AID enables her to achieve this goal.
