Dr. Samantha C. Lee is a pediatric interventional and diagnostic radiologist at the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta (Atlanta, GA). Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate education at Columbia University (New York, NY), received her medical degree from the University of Queensland-Ochsner Clinical School (Brisbane, Australia and New Orleans, LA), completed her Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Northwell Health of the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra (Manhasset, NY), and completed her Diagnostic and Interventional Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA). Dr. Lee’s experience with global health began as a medical student and has further blossomed since joining the Rad-Aid organization. Whether it’s on-site visits, virtual lectures, or individual mentorship, Dr. Lee’s interest in trainee education is a driving force to her involvement with global health. Her work with the pediatric population on a daily basis reminds her of the universal innocence and kindhearted nature of children, making them the focus of her Rad-Aid mission.
