World Radiography Educational Trust Fund
The World Radiography Educational Trust Fund (WRETF) is a UK-based non-profit organization that was inaugurated under a Trust deed by the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) in 1969 and was registered as a charity in 1977. The Trust is administered by seven Trustees from across the globe including France, United Kingdom, United States, and Australia.
The main objective of the charity is to improve access to educational resources in the science and practice of radiography and associated imaging modalities throughout the world. The emphasis of the Trust is on providing help to hospital-based imaging departments and academic radiography programs within the developing world whose need is greater than their financial possibilities.
In the past years the Trust has provided educational support (including textbooks, journals, and workshops) to the following countries: Belize, Botswana, Eritrea, Indonesia, Malawi, Nepal, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
