Led by Dr. Barry Goldberg based on his six decades of accomplished research and teaching, Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute (JUREI) brings extensive resources to developing countries.  With programs such as Teaching the Teachers and e-Learning, along with countless lectures and on-site training in the US and abroad, JUREI offers a comprehensive curriculum on ultrasound scanning and interpretation, with seventy-two affiliated centers served.  RAD-AID is pleased to collaborate with Dr. Goldberg and his team at Jefferson for advancing the role of ultrasound in developing countries. Ultrasound is a leading technology for developing countries because it is relatively inexpensive, flexible, portable, versatile, and can run on a variety of power sources. As a result, a large range of clinical services can be offered to improve access to health care.
